We used all of the shims on our late 1984 454 Chevy powered Pace Arrow. The starter sounds great, and has restored our peace of mind. It is very exasperating to have to sit 45 minutes at gas pumps waiting for the stock starter to cool off so that you can get under way. Now, whether cold or hot, the rig starts every time.
